SPRING-SUMMER HIKING SCHEDULE

All dates are subject to change due to weather and other factors. Some hikes may be cancelled or added at any time. My (Zac) hikes are on Saturdays because I’m usually busy on Sundays, while George is the opposite, typically leading his hikes on Sundays.
Most links are directions to the mountains themselves, not the parking lots or trailheads, and are just there to give a general idea of where you will need to go. More precise directions will be offered as the dates draw nearer and routes are decided. If you need a ride, let us know!
Always wear appropriate footwear (thick soled hiking shoes or boots) and bring plenty of water! You should have around 1 liter of water for every 2 hours you plan to be hiking, possibly more in the summertime.

DO NOT HIKE ALONE.
THERE ARE BEARS.

I’ve never seen one in the flesh, but I’ve seen plenty of fur, tracks, and other evidence of bear activity while hiking.
Did you know? Black bears very rarely attack groups of people. Almost all bear attacks, especially fatal ones, involve solo victims in wilderness areas.
“I have bear spray!” Great. It might protect you, though I sure hope you’re a quick draw, bears are pretty fast. But your safest bet is to always hike in a group of at least 3 people.

DON’T CHANCE IT.
DO NOT HIKE ALONE.
